TO:  The Forward Party, Workers Strike Back

CC:  To every political and labor organization, To all independent media outlets and journalists

SUBJECT:  Let’s Organize Ourselves

I am calling on you to do one thing:  Join together to organize the biggest group hug in history.

We have to unite together.  We have to remove the organized 1% who are recklessly leading our lives, our communities, and our society.  We have to come together and democratically decide the course of our futures.  

The 1% are very organized.  We better do the same and organize ourselves.

We will keep spinning our wheels if we stand scattered in our own silos and agendas.  We can change everything if we stand together.

There are enough of us out there wanting to change everything.  But, we are all acting in our own silos focused on our own priorities - when the power to change everything comes by uniting us all together.  That is what we have to do or we will continue to flail about and fail to realize our shared dream of what everything could be.  We share the same dream. We share the same vision.  And we are thwarted by the same enemy.

We have so much talent among us.  We have organizations - each with thousands of members.  We have organizers.  We have real journalists.  We have media outlets.  We have skills to organize ourselves around.  Remember how many of us showed up for Occupy Wall Street?  How many showed up for Black Lives Matter?  How many were in the Bernie movements of 2016 and 2020?  We are all still here.  It is time to mobilize.  We all want systemic change and we all know we need each other to get it.  So, let’s stop farting around and put it all together.

Yes, let’s use the strength, power and energy we have among us all.  

What we need are organizers.  We need to organize everything. The thing is, we have everything we need to start and to see this through.

The Forward Party has created a political structure to start filling elected offices - their focus is on down ballot elected offices but they could also start focusing on all 435 Congressional Districts.  Imagine 435 town halls becoming a venue for everyone to gather in their own communities. Good independent candidates can be found - many of them are already among us.  435 town halls all working in their own communities at once!

Workers Strike Back has created a voice for the working class - with a national drive to generate a loud voice for labor.  There is power in our labor and if any general strike action were to unfold, we have to unite the working class.  

There are thousands of activist groups across all kinds of causes.  Each of them sharing a common goal and being held back by the exact same Establishment.  Instead of solving the issues on one front - we could solve the issues on all fronts at once.  We have that power.  If we organize it to unite it all into one loud power.

There are good independent candidates courageously taking the steps to place themselves on the electoral ballot in all kinds of races - from President, to Congress, to state government and local positions.  There is a lot of passion among us.  Let’s put it all together on one ticket - a ticket that is actually the ticket of the unified majority.  A ticket that is the people.  Together, we can make a hell of a lot of noise.  

We do not need to organize around a movement.  We need to organize the people to move everything!

There is power in putting it all into one unified voice.  Everyone amplifies everyone else.  It is called synergy - and we have a lot of it if we unite ourselves.  It really is democratic energy.  We have the power we need - we just need to organize it.  

We can also have a lot of fun doing it too!   Why not?

We have to hug each other - and we can set a world record by doing that.  We do not need leaders for that - we just need organizers.  That is why this letter is addressed to you. Let’s make change happen!

This is a call to organize the largest group hug in history.  All our organizations (which number in the thousands and millions of members) need to join together.  Democracy demands it.  We all need it.  And - by doing so - we can smash the record for the largest group hug in history.  

Put the fun into it!!!!  Give the general population a real choice over and above the legacy political party establishment.  Give them something to think about - they will see the energy.  Give them a real choice.  Who wants more of the same crap we have been getting for the last 50-years when there is a choice that will actually hug them?

We just have to organize it.  The people will come.

The 1% use their money to buy votes for their power.  That is all they have.  We do not need to use money - we can offer a hug.  We will build voting blocs instead. 435 of them to start with.  On election day, we all go in a bloc - with our candidates already decided.  Their money will be meaningless.  Their pundits and so-called election strategists that they display 24/7 on the corporate media will be meaningless.  Their polls will be meaningless.  

By the way, I believe this is what democracy actually requires us to do.  It requires us to join together in our communities to decide on everything together - not to have it jammed down our throats by some un-elected corrupt entitled elite.

The legacy political parties have an agenda.  It is an agenda rooted in greed, manipulation and a lust for power and control to the exclusive benefit of the few.  There is nothing but emptiness for the majority of people because they take and oppress us all to achieve their goals and ambitions. Monetary profit is their sole measurement in life.  Their measurement system is wrong because it is not life but the oppression of life.  It is the opposite of what we need.

Political party organizations are their weapon.  Money is their ammunition.  

Political parties are not elected.  They are created by a small portion of the overall population for their own purposes.  Political parties have no purpose whatsoever in a democracy except to neuter democratic power from the will of the majority to the benefit of the few.  The legacy political parties are not a new phenomenon but a disease inflicted upon democracy.  They cannot achieve their ambitions under democratic means.  That is why they need to buy it.

George Washington himself actually warned us all of the threat of political parties to democratic liberty and freedom and we need to heed that warning, and cure democracy from their curse.

The US election cycle is currently ramping up for “Decision 2024”.  The political parties, their politicians, their ‘behind-the-scenes’ manipulative activities, their corruption and extortion means, and their purchased controlled media are all shifting into gear for the show.  But the show is going to offer absolutely nothing for the people.  They are going to call it democracy but it is not democracy - it is a sham designed to keep the same few in charge and to plunder more for themselves at the expense of the majority of us.  It is a scam.  A pyramid scheme.  It is fake.

We have to change the entire dynamic.  And we can do that.  

We can not only do that, but democracy actually requires us to do that.  Democracy requires one thing from each of us - to actively participate in it.  If we just let the 1% do all of the participating while we fail to participate ourselves, we are not going to have democracy and we are not going to embrace our freedom and liberty to determine our futures.

The Democratic Party - through the DNC - is going to make our lives worse.  How do we know that?  They have had power to change things and have failed to do so for over 50-years.  Will 2024 be any different?

The Republican Party - through the RNC - is going to make our lives worse.  How do we know that?  They have had power to change things and have failed to do so for over 50-years.  Will 2024 be any different?

We know this to be the fact because it has been a trend.  There is no possibility of changing either party because they are entrenched in their motives.  We all know this.  

The 2024 election is going to come and go. But we already know the outcome will be in favor of the 1% and will come at the expense of the rest of us.  It is a theft from us.  That is clearly what it is. I outlined that in a previous post.  Read it here. 

We already know who these people are (these very few people) that have corrupted our political institutions for their own benefit.   This was outlined in my previous essay.  Read that one here.

So … we have to change this ongoing destructive and corrupt trend because if we do not, we are not going to have the society we want.  We will not achieve the lives that we know are possible for us to live.  We will not have communities that give us the vibrancy and joyful experience that we want.  We will not have a society that we all imagine.  Our dreams will never be realized.  There is absolutely no doubt about it.  Doing nothing to change what is the status quo will only leave us with the status quo.  

Democracy offers us the power and gives us the authority to have the lives, communities and society we want.  But democracy has that pesky condition that requires us to participate to give us that power.  

We have to organize to participate.  Then we get the power we need.  I am writing this to you because you are organizers.  The work you have already done can become the work that frees us all of the oppressive nightmare we are in.  Do not stop what you are doing - enhance the power of what you are doing.  Add to it with what others are doing.  I guarantee you will feel the energy soar.

We need to organize into one loud community to fire up the power that democracy holds available to us.  We need to strike the match to ignite and unleash that power.

The 1% elites have this figured out.  They not only participate - they have organized themselves.  They do not have what democracy actually requires - which is the majority.  But they have money. And money is what they weaponized themselves with to organize their unauthorized power over us and to suppress the authorized power we hold.  They have distracted us away from the prize.  The prize is democracy itself - the prize to actually self-determine everything!   Dammit, they are taking our freedom and our liberty from us.  

We do not have anywhere near their amount of money to buy what we need.  But we have something much better.  We have ourselves.  We are the clear majority and - while the 1% seeks to ‘buy’ the majority from us - we do not have to buy the majority because we are the majority.  As such, we do not need money to buy what we already have.

What we have to do is to organize ourselves.  And that is what we are going to do.  That is where you come in.

Let's organize our power - which we already have.  Let’s use our democratic authority - which we already have.  And let’s live our lives the way we imagine they can be - which we all share as the majority.  In democracy - the majority rules.  We are the majority.  We rule.

Organizing Our Power

I am trying to put this into the simplest terms possible.  Our task is to unite ourselves into one voice.  We need to all unite as one and take on the common enemy that we all share.  With that - absolutely everything will come to us.  Democracy actually gives us everything and our shared dreams of what life can and should be simply means we have to organize ourselves.  That is all there is to it.

So, let’s really define what that is. 

We need to unite.  There is no rule that defines how we unite or what we unite around - the rule is just that we unite.  So, let’s unite around a group hug.  Let’s organize the largest group hug in history.  Let’s break the world record for the largest group hug in history.

I checked into the current record.  The Guinness World Record for a group hug was set on May 7, 2010 in Ottawa Canada.  The current record they set is 10,554 people.  We can break that easily!!!!   And we can break it by a huge margin.  Let’s do that.  Let’s unite and break the world record for the largest group hug ever.  And let’s break it by a mile!!!!

Democratic authority and power only requires us to unite.  So, let’s unite to break the largest group hug record - and while we are at it - let’s make our group hug last forever.  WE CAN DO THAT!  

And we can have fun doing it.

What do we need to do to accomplish this challenge?  We need to gather up enough people.  We are going for a group hug record … and to make that hug last forever - bringing not only joy to us all but also bringing democratic power and authority to us all.  

There already are groups that have joined together for both political power and for labor power.  

The Forward Party is organizing for political power.  They are focusing on ‘down-ballot’ elected offices across the country.   Let’s maximize that effort.  

Workers Strike Back is organizing labor power.  They are focusing on building organized labor power across the country.  Let’s maximize that effort.

Thousands of other groups have joined together for so many purposes including peace, economic justice, healthcare, environmental justice, racial justice, and criminal justice to name a few.  Guess what?  While we may not always agree on absolutely everything, we all are fighting to move to a more equitable, peaceful and just society.  And we all are fighting the same enemy.

We will never succeed by convincing the corrupt Establishment to change their course - they will not change.  They are criminals relying on methods of deception, fraud, corruption and extortion to meet their objectives.  Believing we can change them is never going to work.  They do not possess the characteristics of empathy and compassion to make such a change.  They are narcissistic psychopaths.  That is a character flaw and it cannot be changed.  We have to remove and replace them from authority over us.  We have all the tools we need to do just that. 

Using myself as an example, I have come into this milieu from efforts focused on environmental justice as outlined in a recent previous essay. I found that my personal activism priority was up against the same exact resistance and enemy that faces so many other advocacy groups.  We all share the same desires for a more just, fair and peaceful world.  And we are all stronger by coming together.  Resolve any single issue we each face and we resolve all the issues we all face.  Uniting together only makes complete sense.  I realized that we each succeed by all of us succeeding together.  You can read about my personal  transition here.  

Why do you think the 1% focuses on dividing us?  Because when we unite they are nothing.  And they know it and they fear it.  Let’s scare the hell out of them.

What we have to do is unite to reject the status quo corrupt Establishment and their corrupted enablers.  We have to remove them.  As soon as we do that, they no longer hold any power over us.  That power comes to us and I am convinced that we will do a much better job with it.

When we hug each other, we will not only experience the joy of each other.  We will have actually removed the 1% from all positions and institutions of power.  And those will become our institutions of power.  And we will actually have the power to chart out the future direction of our lives, our communities, and our society.  

That hug is the point where the democratic power becomes ours.  That hug is the point where the 1% are removed.  It is the hug of the majority.  It is the hug that springs democracy into life.  We can change absolutely everything.

We will call on as many organized groups across the political and labor spectrums to come together and lift us all up together.  It will be an event.  A group hug to completely smash the current world record for group hugs.  

We do not need money.  We do not need the corporate media.  We do not need political parties or their corrupt politicians.  We do not need corporations and bankers.  We just need each other.  We have that.  We have what we need.

The only requirement that democracy demands of us is to organize ourselves together.  If we do that, all the democratic authority and power comes to us.  We can change everything!!!  Let’s organize that group hug.

And let’s smash that record!!!!  This is the hug of our lives.  Let’s all come together and organize it.
